Trusted Network Technologies’ Identity 4.1 Addresses Regulatory Compliance Demands

Added Functionality Automates, Validates and Reports on Effectiveness of IT Controls

ATLANTA, GA – August 14, 2007 – Trusted Network Technologies, Inc. (TNT) today released Identity™ 4.1, an update to its Identity 4.0 offering that gives organizations a new automated arsenal for tackling the continual and costly challenges of regulatory compliance and IT auditing. TNT Identity 4.1 augments pre-configured audit report capabilities, supports identity-based audit without requiring endpoint agents, and allows audit report scheduling—automating compliance processes still handled manually in many enterprises. Identity 4.1 also features automated archiving and a new workflow for audit reporting approvals, expediting the time to complete and retrieve audit forms.

“Our customers use Identity to help meet the most onerous compliance demands, including PCI and SOX,” explained Wain Kellum, President and CEO of Trusted Network Technologies. “TNT Identity 4.1 is a world-class compliance solution for both IT audit and control, and demonstrates the results of real-world customer-driven requirements.”

Key features of Identity 4.1 include:

  • Clientless Auditoffers identity-based audit without endpoint agents, seamlessly integrating with organizational directories and identity repositories to audit users and machines dynamically against critical information assets such as networks, servers and applications.
  • Customized Reports generateaudit reports that map specific compliance demands against identified organizational critical information assets, and enable full integration with leading tools such as Eclipse’s Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) and Actuate reporting products.
  • Report Scheduling supports specified reports generation at user-defined time intervals, ranging from minutes to days to quarters.  This removes manual processes and ensures that auditing activity occurs at the appropriate times, eliminating audit gaps.
  • Approval Workflow supports both primary approvers and delegates, coupled with specific time constraints for action on reports.
  • Automated Archiving of specified reports, complete with audit information, dates, times and workflow approval trails, ensures that reports are easily accessible to all required parties.

TNT Identity 4.1 helps companies to protect critical information assets with the same level of granular controls, automated alerts and strict policies used to protect physical and financial assets. Running on TNT’s family of network security appliances, the solution assigns unique and unalterable identity to all users, machines and critical information assets to create an identity-enabled network.
